A speaking coach for anything you have to say out loud

Rehearse it out loud. See what actually happened.

Rehearse the talk, the interview answer, the toast, the pitch. Aloud listens, measures the parts of your delivery you cannot hear yourself, and shows the working behind every number.

Listening
137 wpm on pace
60125 to 150 wpm240

Everyone who speaks in public knows a talk went badly and cannot say why. Rushing the last minute. Filling every gap with sound. Never pausing long enough for a point to land. They are exactly the things you cannot hear while you are the one talking.

Recording yourself does not fix it. You have to listen back, and nobody does. Aloud does the listening, on the device, and hands you the numbers instead.

A score out of 100 that shows its working.

Five components, weighted, each measured on your iPhone and each carrying the sentence that explains it. Tap any of them. This is a real report from a real rehearsal, numbers and all.

Flow held up; timing is where the work is.

Presentation, 2:01 of 3 min

137Average pace, wpm
277Words
0Fillers & hesitations

Averaged 137 wpm against a band of 125 to 150 wpm, which is the window a presentation wants to sit in.

Weight 0.30 of the score

No fillers and no audible hesitations. That is rare.

Weight 0.26 of the score

Silence was 5% of the run. Between 16% and 32% is the comfortable window here. Pauses long enough to land a point: 4. Longest stretch without a break: 0:37.

Weight 0.19 of the score

Your loudness barely moved. Flat delivery reads as a read-out even when the words are good.

Weight 0.11 of the score

You came in 0:59 under 3 min, so there was room for another point, or for slowing down.

Weight 0.14 of the score

Weights renormalise if a component is missing. With no target set there is no timing score.

It hears the "uhh" a transcript throws away.

Every transcription engine deletes a hesitation, because there is no word in it to write down. Aloud finds the gaps between your words, then looks at the level track inside each gap. Sound with no word is a hesitation. Silence is a pause. That one comparison is the whole idea.

Every kind of talk has its own speed.

A best man's toast and a sales pitch are not the same job. Pick what you are about to say and Aloud coaches you towards the window that kind of talk wants to sit in, second by second, not as one average at the end.

Your wrist keeps the pace.

Start Stage mode before you walk up. Your phone can stay in a bag, because the watch does the whole job on its own. Nobody in the room sees a thing.

The rule that decides when a tap is due runs on both devices from the same code, so the phone and the watch can never disagree about what "on pace" means.

Your recording never leaves your iPhone.

Transcription happens on the device

Speech is analysed by iOS on your iPhone. There is no upload step to switch off, because there is no upload.

It works signed out and offline

An account is optional. Sign in only if you want your numbers and transcripts to follow you to a new phone. The audio never syncs.

No analytics, no ads, no tracking

Not a reduced amount. None. There is no third-party SDK counting what you tap.

The AI studio only speaks when asked

Optional, and only on a tap. It is handed the numbers your device already computed, and told it may not re-estimate any of them.

Every claim on this page is written to be literally true of the code that ships. The long version is in the privacy policy.

You get real numbers before you pay.
